theyre not data files , theyre mpeg files in vcd format.

just rename from "avseq01.dat" to "amazing car clip 7.mpg"

then they are just normal mpeg files

you must have " show extensions for known files types ticked " in folder options. then you can rename the extension properly. it will only change the extension and how the computer trys to open the file it wont actually change the file.

MPEG-1's are the standard for VCD, I use a program called Yasa VCD or somethingorother to make the files MPEG-1 standard.

I could never get any of these programs to burn properly. You can't just burn the files to a CD then whop it in the DVD player, it needs to be burned actually as a VCD. Being careful with words here, Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum has the option to make VCD's, you just tell it which files to use. You will need to 'acquire' this from 'somewhere'.

Then using that program it's just a case of choosing which files and in what order, and it burns it up as a nice VCD
