MPEG-1's are the standard for VCD, I use a program called Yasa VCD or somethingorother to make the files MPEG-1 standard.

I could never get any of these programs to burn properly. You can't just burn the files to a CD then whop it in the DVD player, it needs to be burned actually as a VCD. Being careful with words here, Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum has the option to make VCD's, you just tell it which files to use. You will need to 'acquire' this from 'somewhere'.

Then using that program it's just a case of choosing which files and in what order, and it burns it up as a nice VCD :)

you must have " show extensions for known files types ticked " in folder options. then you can rename the extension properly. it will only change the extension and how the computer trys to open the file it wont actually change the file.
