they'd be a bit useless for a car, max fluid temp is 60C & pressure is only 50PSI, but thats plenty for the computer

Just need to finish making the waterblock for the CPU now, design is done & had a prototype made up from acrylic, so just waiting for the copper to be delivered & can then get it CNC'd out

Waterblock looks different tho I tell thee!!

There on the list, but wont be getting them for a while yet!

need to get the waterblock made up & build the WC setup before I get any more bits!

Thats the final prototype of the block for size & all, measures up nicely to the mounting holes on the board, so ordered the copper to make it the other day & hopefully have it made up in a few weeks!

Then once the WC kit is pretty much made, I'll get the graphics card, CPU, RAM, HDD & DVD-RW Drives!

then just finish it all off & its done

From what I've read, it definately is worth the outlay!

That CMOS-Reloaded is pretty nifty, you can store 2 custom configurations, aswell as original ones, so its great for overclocking & toying with!

4 SATA Slots (SATA-Raid 0 & 1), 2 ATA133 connectors, floppy, 3 Firewire (2 rear, 1 front), 6 USB 2 (4 rear, 2 front), 3 DDR400 Slots (3Gb MAX), 5 PCI, 1 AGPx8, 2 LAN (1 Gigabit, 1 10/100), SPDIF in & out, 5.1 Sound, plus few extra's here & there!) Comes with a front panel too for adding all the front bits like USB & FireWire, diagnostic LED's, PC C|arry Case for lanpartys, UV Reactive round IDE & Floppy cables, UV Reactive PCI Slots, Memory slots & HDD Slots (all the green bits), black PCB Design...

Defo worth the money

i wouldnt buy a new motherboard now personally with PCI Express and the new AMD / Intel chip layouts due soon sems a waste!

But it does look like a good mobo, im using an ASUS A7N8X - Deluex atm.

nah not too fussed with the new stuff coming out just yet....

i always wait a year at least so I know all the little niggles are fully ironed out & problems sorted!

take the early P4's! they were pretty shite & only as good as a P3 in performance! 18 months later, they revise the P4 with a new socket & add support for DDR, aswell as quite a few other improvements!

But i like the sound of an Athlon 64 3800+ with 1gig DDR2 RAM and no serial/parallel/floppy drive etc...

And the PCI Express technology really does seem like a genuine improvement over PCI/AGP setups.

i aint convinced tho

plus £500+ for an AMD chip??? no thanks!!! I;ll be happy with my £70 Mobile Athlon XP+ 2800 Barton overclocked to silly speeds (getting mobile chip as is better than regular & also multiplier-unlocked)

the Ath64's are near impossible to overrclock

i've got 2 x 120mm fans to fit to mine, aswell as 3 80mm case fans...

the 120mm are for the radiators tho... & case fans for blowing air out the case...

case has a built in filer in the front tho which helps!

ill be running an XP2800+ at around 2.6ghz, maybe 2.8 if I get it stable & cool enough... is one of main reasons why I'm watercooling & also using the abovemotherboard as you can fine tune everything!
