Either your mates punto is less than 190bhp or your clio is more than 150 because the difference in weights of the two cars isnt much, and 40bhp would make all the difference on the road.

just an observation

when his came on boost it was much faster but then when he changed up id creep back til it came on boost again, it was 190bhp trust me, he bought it off a lad of puntoabarth.co.uk had all sorts dun 2 it

sooty's 106 gti raced it, faired quite well but punto was pulling few cars lengths on him

GT's dont stay "in boost" whilst going through the gears then?
Suppose when its tuned to that amount then his powerband will be smaller?

Still, the revs must drop silly amounts when changing at high rpm!

sounds like a crap driver, or, crap gearing to me!!

well when its not on boost its just a 1.4 8v really, whereas my clio has a more constant power delivery which is available throughout my rev-range

it was a wicked punto, go on puntoabarth.co.uk and ask about richard baker's old GT (the fella that had it b4 my m8)

think vibs mite be familiar with this GT
