Either your mates punto is less than 190bhp or your clio is more than 150 because the difference in weights of the two cars isnt much, and 40bhp would make all the difference on the road.

GT's dont stay "in boost" whilst going through the gears then? 
Suppose when its tuned to that amount then his powerband will be smaller?

well when its not on boost its just a 1.4 8v really, whereas my clio has a more constant power delivery which is available throughout my rev-range

it was a wicked punto, go on puntoabarth.co.uk and ask about richard baker's old GT (the fella that had it b4 my m8)

	no.... punto was quicker than the GTS in 5th from a 3rd gear speed! The skyline is faster.......

	both in 5th..... i would have been about 1500 rpm.... ross would have been about 2.5 to 3k i think

	i was...... i started roping him in at around 100... pulling in at 120 we had two go's.... from 50'ish in 5th (he destroyed me :lol: and 40'ish in 3rd..... still whipped me, but kept in touch till i started to pull on him
