I have a problem with the passenger side speaker. Driving home and it just cut out !. Now when I put the head unit in, the speaker just pops 
I removed the speaker and looked to see if there was a problem with the wiring, and the connectors weren't touching unless pushed together, so I reconnected and tested to make sure there was an output from the head unit, which there was. But I still get the same popping from the speaker and no music.
I changed the drivers side and passenger side speakers to see if it was a blown speaker, but the one from the passengers side that was popping worked fine in the drivers side, but the other was still popping on the passengers side.
Can anyone suggest anything that might be the problem, or a possible solution
Any help appreciated, cos I am stuck

It looks like the channel for that side is damaged on the head unit mate. Out of interest what head unit ya got?

Igot a pioneer DEH-5530MP head unit. It has only been in a matter of days !.
It is a fault with the head unit i'm sure as I reconnected the old h.u. and everything worked fine. So now I have to send this one back and get a new one

or just wire the speakers from ur amp mayb?
