rite, i need power, was set on putting a 1.6 in and tuning it, but cant find a desent block. and it will cost loads more than just the 2l conversion just to get about 130bhp from it.

now thinking about valver. so am thinking about buying a 2l astra, and transfering all the stuff accross. shafts ect. are they all the same?

what is the handling like on a valver?

The astra will provide u with the engine, ECU, loom + gear box and brakes (if u want em).......but mounts/shafts are custom items that u get thru PVD or justnovas/corsas.

U cud then break the astra for parts.....like wot me + my bro did.......but make sure u got some where to store the car during braking etc

engine mounts can be made up - keep asking friends your bound to be able to find someone who can make them next to nothing,

also drive shafts can be amde a lot cheaper than pvd sell them.

pretty sure the donor car will supply everything else you need
