i know u can chip a ps2 to play chipped games; i.e copied ones
but can u chip it so the ps2 is multiregional and will play all formats of dvd's, vcds etc?
(i am not encouraging the illegal chipping of ps2's, just curios)

i found out mate that if you pop a dvd in to a ps2 and go to the settings menu, you can change the region by country.

a few of my copied dvds are region free anyway. give it a go, no harm in trying.

new psx is coming out soon for around £400. it's supose to burn cd's or something. looks good but it looks as big as the x box

dont know about games but ive played loads of coppied DVD's.
you can get xbox for cheep as if you trade in you PS2
