just looked at a £1000 loan, repayable over 2 years at 48 quid a month, at the end of it iv paid 1152 is that pretty good cos i fort it was

Northern Rock are OK for loans, but I would also suggest the Credit Card option.

you can get 9mths interest free from halifax and there APR afterwards is only 9.9%

or you open a credit card, put the £1000 on it, then open a capital1 caqrd, and transfere it onto there, you get 0% till the transfer is cleared.

i have a flexible loan which is even worse!!

i pay off £150 a month but can withdraw funds from the loan when i need it

needless to say its still at the 4k i started with!!

Agree mate, for that amount of money get 0% credit card for 6 months or 9. I f you haven't paid it by then transfer the amount to another
