Nostalgia I guess.

Newer cars are built so much better than the old cars were, compare a Corsa b to a c or a mk1 Golf to a mk4.

Some people say modern cars don't have the character of old ones but if character is draughts, rattles and bits falling off then I'll stick to my dull modern one!

There is an old Quattro at the garage mine is in at the mo. The guy who owns it is throwing a bucketfull of cash at it replacing standard parts that are knackered, he's not even going for any increase in power I don't think.

Don't really see the point tbh, don't get me wrong they are still nice motors and were fantastic in their day but I'd just use the cash to get something like an S4.

I was seriously considering buying a Manta GTE, my dad had one, beautiful!
He said that was the best car he had ever driven! He's had some nice cars including 3 calibra's (2 8v's, 1 V6) but says nothing compares to the raw back end out thrills of the Manta! The shape I think is nice and if you find a minter they are very rare, take it to shows (billing) and its an instant crowd pleaser!

I saw a really crap red/pink looking 3 door Escort like the Cossie above except it was an 'L' or whatever Ford's base model is, I was thinking to myself "Escort Cossies are based on that!"

ive got a 91 saab 900 aero turbo as a daily runaround and a 98 corsa b,i feel safer in the saab, considering its 13 years old theres nowhere near as many rattles and squeaks in it and its got a turbo as well, still kicks ass of a lot of cars.plus it only cost a grand
