its really beginnin to do my head in a bit when its a perfectly clear night, your on country roads and people have got fog lights on

just wondered how many people on here drive with them on

yes but u drive a saxo u cant swich them off u wont look as cool

i dnt know really. if u have them on ur car i jst feel why not have them on. they dnt blind any1 and seen as a third of cars at night have em on anyways, i jst think why not

They do dazzle oncoming drivers and the fact that so many people drive with them on proves how ignorant other road users are.

you've got a horn on your car, why dont you have that linked to your lights too and have that on all the time

and yes, they do blind people at night

especially on unfamiliar country roads with very few road markings

my fogs do not dazzle drivers at all. they are honestly not blinding. no were near as bad as BMW lights and puntos, etc with their new blue lights. now they do dazzle you

Fog lights usually aren't as bad as people have their lights on highest level setting. (0 on corsas). That often blinds me, I always have it on 3 - the lowest setting.

i have a few times by mistake cos the switch for them is easily knocked by my knee when i get in the car, and the steerin wheels blocks my view if the switch, so i dont know its on!

It would be too difficult to police those with dazzling fog lights against those that have non-dazzling fog lights.

More efficient to ban the use of foglights except when it's oooh... foggy!

i was refering to the people that have them on deliberately, not drunken fools like you who dont realise

True, im over 6ft and sometimes my knee would knock it on, usually id notice and switch it off but once I didnt and got fined I coulda knocked the smug coppers teeth in cause he was all yeah yeah - thought he was so

im not arguing witht he fact u get fined with them on. if the laws say dnt use em then fair enough. and anyway when it is foggy fog lights make no difference what so ever
