the alternator has made so much difference to the system i have in at the minute. it will help loads for the system thats going in.

No offence or anything but why would you want that many subs, yes it will be loud and i like my stereo loud but that many is a bit crazy, not taking the piss just wondering why

its only gettin this many subs in to promote a company really and to be in spl competitions this show season

you have smooth boot, yes? well, that will crack, and if they're decent subs with decent power etc.etc. 12 x 12's you will need bracing on the doors/windows/boot. Metal bodywork will also be liable to splitting open. But, good luck and hope to hear it sometime soon.

PS, bet i can put up with the bass on full whack for longer than you'd be able to hehehe!!

oh corb... your a silly boyo.

mate i would go for the 15's.. in SPL comps they will rock.. although the thought of 8x 12" subs is also nice.. I dont think going for 12x 12's would be a good idea..

but well done mate. Will be super class..

What equipment they putting in??? Some top notch i hope

Are you stengthaning car at all, cuz i think i read somewhere if you wanna win comps its not al on sound quality and loudness its also on how safe the system is and how its installed, correct me if im wrong anyone

There are several different types of comps and its all dependant on what competitions he wants to enter. In this case its obviously going to be SPL.

@AustinPXX alternator will cost about £500 but i might be able to get it cheaper.
The plan at the minute is to build the box and see what they can get into it.There wont be to much boot vibration because the box will be closed off at the back.So when you look into my car from the front there will be a diamond shape hole with the subs on each side,with all the subs firing at the same time it will push the air out to the front of my car,and all the ports will be at the front aswell.The amps and batterys will be mounted behind the box on show with the boot open.I'm getting stronger springs on the back to handle the weight.Hopefully using 8 lightning audio strike dual voice coil subs,4 strike bass amps,epic 160 and not sure on the rest yet.
