Hello People,
I need your help i've got a T reg corsa 1.0 12v ecotec.............
When i start my vehicle from cold the engine sounds normal but when it's warmed up it sounds like a diesel ( tappet nosie ) engine oil level all ok it drive ok no problem it's got 56,323 miles on the clock.............

Could be loads of things; sticking tappets, camshaft, if you rev it does it get louder, cos mine did and it was a blowing exhaust manifold gasket...

It does get louder but it is not coming from the exhaust manifold gasket maybe lack of oil pressure coming to the top of the engine........

Maybe, but i didnt think mine was coming from the manifold. Id probably have to say its the tappets, mine are noisey. Dont worry bout it, just turn up he tunes, and your on your way!
