nice, I got a dilema...

Do I try to get the wheels that are on that ferrari in chrome (which the website doesn't show available), try to get some other 5 spokes or go down to the shop tommorrow which is 24 miles away and see what they have?

do you think they'll have all I want in stock? (if they do online mail order, they're probably a normal shop too yeh? )

yeh been meaning to get the car down for ages, its been sitting on top of my cuboard for a year or more. gathering dust.

It may not even work, last time I drove it I thought it'd be funny to fly through loads of gravel and stuff and it all got filthy and you could hear stuff rattling about inside. But I've just cleaned it, so it should be ok.

Also need batteries for remote controller.

It'll be a laugh!

hehe, tempted to buy a new tuned RS 540 Motor? (no idea what it is... lol for all I know I may already have one)

apparently it does 21,500 Rpm!

hmm, I should stop, otherwise I'm gonna end up spending a fortune!

i.e. £17 for body
£3.99 for paint
£11 for new wheels
£12 or something for new tyres
£21 for a new motor ...

RS-540SH RS-540SH
Sport-Tuned
(7435044) (53068)
Rated Voltage (V) 7.2 7.2
RPM at no load (rpm) 17,200 21,500
Current at no load (A) 2.2 2.2
Max. Output (W) 96 135
Max. Torque (g-cm) 2,180 2,400
Rotor wire (diameter x turns) 0.65 x 27 0.8 x 23

comparison between my current motor (I think) left and the 'tuned one' right. tbh though its cheap so I dunno if its actually any good at all?

it could be the equivalent of going from 45 bhp to 55 bhp -

oh er... just found this on another site

Wind: 19 turns of 19-gauge wire
Brushes: pro-stock serrated laydown
Springs: polarized; positive (red); negative (green)
Comm. diameter: 0.295 in. (7.5mm)

DYNO TEST RESULTS

Peak rpm: 28,510
Peak power (watts): 185.1
Peak torque (Nmm): 251.4
Torque C peak power (Nmm): 137.7
Peak efficiency: 76.5%

thats one with only 19 turns, the really tuned one have even less turns than that... but still that ones producing 28,500 rpm!
