i just drove a mates zetec s very fast well in in comparison to my 1.2 8v
how would one opf them compare to a corsa with a 2l conversion?
would the 2.0 be as torquey?

No, it will be more so Why would a 1.6 be more torquey than a 2ltr?

its a sporty engine in the fiesta i would have thought it would be tweeked in comparison to a standard astra or cavelier engine

Its a "sporty" engine in the Astra, Cav and Calibra, hence why it went in GTE/GSi models and not 2.0 GL or summat!
Anyway, I wont get sarky but a 2ltr Corsa would make mincemeat of a Zetec S

The Quoted power was 103 bhp on the ZS, but its (as is the Focus 1.6, quoted at 99) more like 108-110. I found this RRing std car before superchip and also the superchips website and several dyno reports I've seen back this up.
Weight of car is about 975kg.
A red top Corsa 2.0 would have at least 150, and weigh something similar so its going to be a lot faster.
most cars feel quick after a 1.2 corsa 8v anyway, a 1.25 Fiesta Zetec would feel lots quicker too and blow the corsa 1.2 8v away.

a c20xe would rape a zetec-S!! My GSI when standard would murder standard 1's!! My housem8 has got one and has spent a whole fcuk load on the engine and now its fairly rapid but standard they are wank
