Think the BHP is about 105?? dunno about the torque though but feels a bit more than my sport 1.6 I used to have.

might be just me though!

So would one of these Fiesta's piss over a Corsa GSi/Sport then? I reckon it's quicker because it isn't as heavy as the Corsa.

I'm talking about the 1.6 16v Zetec, not the 1.25 16v.

I agree with that as I know someone by me with same car std etc...and mine is far quicker than his...dunno what it is...same reg etc...

Top end feels a lot less breathless than my old sport...after say 105 it used to be very unresponsive...the Zetec-s isnt as bad!

zetec-s is about 105bhp and 0-60 in about 10.2.

I can keep up with them in my 1.4 16v sport to about 65 then they pull away.

The 1.25 16v zetec is the best engined fiesta in my view. 75bhp 11.9 to 60.

Righty, i had a race with one of these down the M20.

On a slight uphill he was gaining on me, only marginally though, nothing impressive. Got to the flat at the top of the hill, and it seemed to level out. Got to a slight downhill and i couldn't believe it but D4 started to pull on it. I thought it was a 1.25, but it wasn't it was a 1.6.

They handle quite well, but performance wise, terrible. Even a standard 1.6 would beat it.

Why were u speeding so fast to get all four wheels sliding in the dry by a bus stop?

I've driven my car to the limit and past it (quite a few times ) in every condition the UK has had in the last 3 years and i've never had all 4 wheels sliding.

Even at Brunters i could only manage to slide n hold the back end out
