Ive heard a lot from Rally peeps that the bottom balljoint should be upgraded if abused but never the track control rod/end? Had it corroded matey? Also what suspension was you using, was it VERY hard? Sorry for all this but if it can help us learn and save others....


Looking at the pictures it is the bottom ball joint that has sheared not the track rod end!!

Ahh quite common for this to shear without warning on hard driven Nova/Corsa's. Its a must-do upgrade for ALL abused nova's and corsa's...

I should really think about doing this when the valver goes in, I think TAS do the stronger balljoints but I bet they arent cheap...

gutted about your car lad.

glad to here your ok and that the insurance is paying out for everything.

i'm still waiting 6-7weeks after my accident to be paid out for my car that was written off, but hey, everyday i aint got it, i'm claiming more and more money.

sorry to see that car in that state. loved that car.
