Just a survey as have a mate who is interested in starting to do the conversions...£1500 seems to be the going rate as per lee mitchell so...in the North West who would be interested...turnaround would prob be 7 days...???

Just need an idea on numbers?

Why don't people in the Midlands (or even better Northampton... or better Peterborough... better still, my road ) do the conversions?

Would save me the hassle of taking time off work and/or hiring a car in the meantime

as far as im aware the last one beardy done was in 16 hours and it was a diesel conversion to

yes larance did mine and it took him with me helping and watching about 24 working hours (over a few weeks in the snow in his back yard :lol he did an ace job and showed me everthing i know
as for my engine it been fitted into a the corsa D Scott is on about.

like scott said the corsa D we have just done took us around 16 hours and was 99% complete (we have to wait 24 hours for a rubber mount as we did not plan for the D mount to be so differant) we had planed alot and had ever part there we needed there (except the rubber mount)

no engineers report no sorry, but i have never been asked for one ever, and alot of my m8s have not got on eather.

24hours if well planed and all parts are there and ready

where around manchester u live mate? not too far away in stoke about an hour to manchester, could be very interested in the summer, do u do any recon jobs of the engine first too???
