how u know when ur brakes need changing? do they make a noise?

they will vibrate or judder and squeel under heavy breaking, but if you've really neglected them there will be a metal agianst metal grinding noise (not funny) where the discs are in contact with the metal of the pad.
its not hard to check them if you've got a jack

dunno m8 but i just got the report the pads and disks, Completely gone!!!!!! And rear are 90% gone!!!!!

yea i have done m8, but its ass, kwik fit had the car since 10! have not had the time 2 go 2 the bank and get the money 2 pay them yet!

thats for the brake fluid, but it sometimes come on when the brakes need doing.

i bet they said the rears are gone too, they take advantage of people not in the know.

should have done it yourself, can get discs for about 20 quid, pads for 15 and 45 mins to change both sides.

Ah fair enough, not many places round here that I would trust with my car.

But as said earlier you can pick up the pads and disks at a decent price from a motor factors and its a really simple job to do.

Jack it up, take the caliper guide bolts out remove the caliper, undo the phillips headed srew that holds the disk to the hub, take the disk off and swap it, replace the screw, on the pads they just slide out of the caliper and you slide new ones back in remembering to put some copper grease on the back of them to stop squeeling.

yea true, but its 2 cold 4 me 2 do it, plus i got 5 years warrenty from kwik fit,
