mate wants advice on which to get, at the mo hes got a 4 branch exhaust naifold, de-cat and full stainless system, which is the better option?

This decision entirely decides upon how style concious he is. If he dont mind paying a bit more for a nice looking product, then get the mantzel, if he dont mind an off shaped cylinder painted bright blue at the back of the engine bay, then get the Velos. Both offer similar power gains

i have the plenum(in vibs piccy) and a unichip,cat back exhaust and a filter.
went from 106bhp to 137bhp.so ive got to say go velos(ive heard 2 many horror stories about courtney over the years)

i have a 1.6 sport,not gsi.also u can get the torque tube for less than £300 if u want 2 fit it yourself

Velos item simply because its much cheaper. Does the same job. For the cost of the mantzel you could get the velos bean can one.

The gains are from ditching the standard crap, not from the excellent design of the replacements. The mantzel powerbox isn't exactly a beautifully crafted designed thing. So the power isn't an issue between any of these, the tuv approval only means they are made by rich german companies who can afford it. Performance will be the same.

The velos bean can thing has been thought about, and would give the most power.

The advantage of the manztel is that its cast and could almost look standard.
