its 3 now, never raced one off the line, but through mid range to top end the three R5 GTT's ive raced couldnt touch me, they were all std
explains it then, not much could touch a good 5 off the mark really, well cars that do are in a different class altogether i should have around the 200bhp mark when its all done and back together

i disagree with the zr...they get driven around by 2 types of drivers....

1) the rover worker who has the car on the rover scheme

2) the rover workers son/daughter who got the car on the scheme as well

if the zr was neva built but a few rover 200 modifiers got hold of there cars and made them look like the ZR as we seen it today then...fair play!!!!!

but ZR's come as standard looking like that and every bleeder has one!!!!

and its a rover......a rover!!!!!!!!! no way should it even get mentioned in this post!

Youve missed one important one, the Nova Sport, won rallies in its day i think, and if its any ware as good as my Corsa to drive its a alot of fun too, may not be one of the quickest now but in its day wernt lacking and very sought after now n'all! I think as long as a car is reasonably quick and fun too drive youve got the right car! After all a car can have a 0-60 time of 4 secs but if you dont get that kick of adreniline its no good anyway! I know I can safely say that every time I get out of my Corsa after a play I have a big grin on my face! Thats the main thing isnt it, it has to be entertaining to drive!

Oh dear. No mention of Rover cause of the old man thing
Hot hatch - Rover 220GSi Turbo.
0-60 - 6.1s
top speed - 149mph
BHP - 200bhp
Full electrics and you can pick em up for under £3k. And because those are base figures, you only have to up the boost, air filter, full 2.5" exhaust and you're into the 220-230bhp zone. No ciritical problems with the cars, no head gasket failure problem as its the T series engine.

Apart from that, i think the nearest thing thats kept up with me is the Civic Type R at pod. But i still beat him by 0.4 of a second.

I DO like the Corsa GSi 1.8. Nippy car, expencive though

can't believe how blind & thick you are. note the title of the thread.

What do you think is the best hot hatch (supermini and fairly new cars only).
