Are these worth the money and do they give any power gains?

Planning to buy a new exhaust system for my Gsi, along with a pre-cat pipe but have seen packages inlcuding a sports cat and pre-cat pipe.
Thing is they are rather pricey so just wanted some opinions to see if they are worth the money?

Thanks

My cat went on my gsi so i replaced it with a sports cat off ebay, there was a slight difference but i was running standard system then. I think you would only notice the difference once the pre cat de cat is on.

Oh and some insider info for you all regarding sports cats.

They will all become illegal, and not MOT worthy within the next year, so don't waste your money buying one.

All new cats have to be of a certain standard (very expensive)

Anyone in the exhaust fitting game will know that bosal/walker etc cats are not gonna be useable.
