Hey...
With no search facility it's hard to find old threads.
Can anyone find any of the older Jam Sport threads showing work they done on supercharging and putting throttle bodies on fiests st's.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Tim

You reckon? I'd say it'd cost more to buy and fit a 2.5 than it would be to Supercharge the 2.0.

Fuck knows but it would be more fun/reliable than any TB/supercharger set up Maybe

heavy though
and blocks have been known to crack with uprated turbos (330/350bhp iirc)

yer its heavy enough in the front of the bigger focus
Supercharger done right will be just as reliable as a standard car

the 5cylinder engine would be a bit of an arse to fit, we have fitted one into a mk1 focus, was very tight in there
the supercharged st's have given no reliability problems up to 290bhp on a standard bottom end.
throttle bodies on a standard engine just arnt worth it for the gains, 180bhp for 3k. can get more than that keeping the standard throttle body.

Just had a mate (Simon Nicholls) come back from Jamsport last Thursday after having a supercharger fitted to his Fiesta ST, said he was talking to you for a while Mark, chatting about the Combe Action day too.
I haven't been out in yet as I came back to uni on Saturday, but hopefully I will soon!
