Is there anyway that you can paly PS2 games on a PS3, (not 60GB btw) Can you download or buy some sort of software from a game shop?

not sure but why would you want to once you have played a next gen good title you wont want to play old ps2 games

no only 60g is backwards compatible.(and possibly 80g but not sure on that)
