I doubt many of you will remember my thread from last year
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=376115
Anyway today I put her all back together so I can get back out riding as i've become a fitness freak the past couple of weeks.

Now all I need to do is find my presta valve adapter so I can put some air into the tyres, the gears need fine tuning in and i need to re-cabletie the rear brake hose

Its been my trusty steed since i was 16 and im now 22 I used to do alot of street and dirt jumping back the day but until my fitness is at an acceptable level I will just be riding to and from work and just rediscover the places I used to ride as a youngster. I cant wait

You will like the 'cycle skills area' of Delamere forest.
Dirt jumps, slalom course and not to mention some XC and DH bits. Good place to go practising your skills

Sounds good, I've always wanted to ride Delamere since I was 16 but never ever got round to it. I used to ride the marin trails alot but the last proper ride I did was round Llandegla.....I dont recommend it with 9 gears

fair play the last time i did the red and black run in Llandegla i had a binding front brake. I wore myself out so much i physically had to walk to the last section (where you drop down the bridge at the end) Boy did I sleep that night

I have decided to upgrade my brakes ready for the next time I go. I nearly hit a tree last time as I wasnt stopping very quickly

Ive recently upgraded too from giant MPH (basically hope C2's under a different name) to the Hayes you see above. The power from the front brake now is outstanding There has been a couple of occasions when I've locked up both wheels. What brakes have you gone for?
