Depends on the place & their policies - some places will let you wander round, pull bits off cars etc others dont let you inside & you tell them what you require to have it removed.

The 2 that I've been to near me are both, go in get what you want (one even has tools to borrow) then pay on the way out, although my mate went to one of them a while back and had his pockets full when he was leaving, as he was walking out he was approached by a man that told them he was a security guard, and that no-one steals from there because he has eyes like a hawk. My mate then said very good and continued to walk out, rattling

Just pop in and ask at the little office they have, they usually grunt something back, then go on from there.

My mate went to Atlas a while back to get a back box for his Bravo, he was having a look if there was anything else worth having on it, found 2 6x9s hidden away on the parcel shelf, just walked past with the speakers out of site, paid a fiver for the shelf and back box 6x9s were probably worth about £70 new
