1st of all...

2nd, Ill explain...

Mods,

Basic things-

Filters, Manifolds+ s/s system / De-cat / F.S.E.

Now im not genius but, it seems to be every so slightly running far too rich. Could this be my F.S.E. being fucked? Or not set to the right pressure? I paid to have it done at my local performance garage "Pro Tec" Nr preston Lancs but still 6months down the line, it happens again. I havnt touched it or adjusted it in anyway so im stuck.

Starting from cold, needle sticks at 2k... calms down after 1min... I find bitnig point *obv by giving her a little bit of juice* + it bogs down further + cuts out...

I then have a cue of around 4-5 cars getting pissed off behind me when they think im a shite driver + cant find B.P under normal conditions... It did it 6 times the other morning thus leaving a small sized traffic jam behind when i finally made progress...

Turn it off // Turn her back over again... Stumbles upto 1k+ under gentle gas... It falls down again, (LIKE ITS GETTING TOO MUCH FUEL) + therefore choaking itself to stall.

Should i---

A) Take F.S.E off + reconnect the pipes (How big of a job is that)?
B) Run a full diagnostic on her+see what it pulls up? (Free from a mate @ Perrys)
C) Learn how to drive properly
D) Scrap the whole thing + start again

fse valves are renound for being rubbish, you dont need one with your spec, you would want it set to standard fuel pressure anyway

Bin the FSE, utter shite.

The standard ecu is mapped for a specific fuel pressure, which the regulator is made for.

i dissagree. half the people on the internet say fse regulators are shite because the read someone elses comment. there absolutly fine and are only downtalked by people using them on turbo engines for giving dodgy pressure readings as most of them rise at 1/1.7. saying this i ran a fse regulator on a p2 turbo engine for over a year without problems

tbh your problem sounds more like a sensor fault, poss tps?

Throttle posistion sensor? hmmmm think your onto a winner

A tech 2 is the big "gameboy" like thing isnt it...

If the sensor's goosed then it will naturally send too much fuel through?

Might take the F.S.E. off too then aswell... Never been to keen on it myself
