......although I hate it I have spent a few hours today adding music bit by bit and it is working OK for me. Just dont had 100,000 tracks in one go and wonder why it looks a mess lol!
Ok, at the moment I am editing some files in My Music folder but then itunes does not see them any more (due to name changes)
Is there a way to refresh the library?
Also, I am making chnages in itunes but NOT editing the files - is this the best way? Or should itunes rename/reorganise my files for me?

PS - If I edit 100,000 songs in itunes then move them all to a USB drive and want to play them from there will this loose all the editing I have done ?

You definately should have it set to re-organise your files/folders

if things go wrong I could end up pretty pissed off lol!
got about 60 hip hop albums in now, needed to make some compilations as it came up with like 40 albums with the same name with 1 per artist

I have 2Pac Greatest Hits, NMW Greatest Hits, BIG Greatest Hits, Run DMC Greatest hits etc.... but it is listing each track per album per artist as a different album (so like 100 albums with 1 song each) - any easy way to do this?
Also only downloaded about 5 album covers so far - any way to make it do it better?

also it sorts ALBUMS in Alphabetical order
can I sort it grouped by Artist?

OK found out that you can add the ALBUM artist and the TRACK artist - so this allows me to keep all albums together per artist
also, I have like 200 hip hop albums, 400 dance albums etc - any way to keep them totally seperate so I dont get the 2 types mixed up when looking through my albums?
