Hey Guys I Am New to the Site......
I Am In The Process Of Looking For A Corsa 1.4 16v Soprt
I Have My Eye On One But I Am Quite Picky... The Right Horn Push
Button On The Steering Wheel Seems To Have Been Scratched,
By A Dog Or Some Sort Of Beast
I Quite Like The Car But Am Wondering Whether I Can Take The Steering
Wheel Out (With Air-Bag) And Replace It + What Would This Cost??
The Other Thing Is, In The Engine Bay By The Front On The Right Hand Side
There Is A Case (Circular Tube) Its All Connected But As You May Already
Know I Am Not Very Good With Vauxhall Engine's
Can Anyone Tell Me What My Best Bet Would Be?? ASAP Please
Cheers Karlos (Karl)

Hi Karl, Welcome to the site.
Depending on the year of the corsa, the airbag unit can be easily disconnected and swapped over for another - You don't even need to remove the steering wheel to do it, it's 4 bolts IIRC.
I'm not entirely sure what you mean with the tube on the right side. Is it missing? On the left side of the engine there is a tube which goes to the airbox!!
The 1.4 Sport is a great model to choose. Quite nippy, get all of the bits with them and cheap insurance/tax etc. What is the year is it? Air Con model? Mileage? How much you looking at paying?

Hi again, Price doesn't seem too bad on that. I presume it's coming from a dealership? That is higher money for the car, but about right if your not buying private.
I'd look out for Service History with the car, plus MoT and Tax! If you buy that one the airbag unit is nice and easy to change! You won't have any problems there.

Phil, Thanks For The Replies Mate, Nuch Appriciated
Its From Crawley (West Sussex) The Place Is Called *The Bargain Yard*
It Is A Nice Car + Was Up For £2495 BUt I Had A Look Around The Car + Took The Bad Bits Out Of The Equation...
Not Taxed But Will Have A Years Mot Straight Away.
Ill Get It For £2250
Do You Think There Is Anything I Should Be Looking Out For On This Car That Normally Would Tend To Go Wrong At Around 64,000 Miles But Not Be Too Noticeable??
Cheers Again Phil

Slam 2grand on the table and ask for the keys. 2250 is very high - especially without at least 6months tax.
From what i can gather the case thing you are on about is the 'secondary air pump' steering wheels are straight forward to swap over if needs be.

Yeh try for the £2k as mentioned above. Steering wheel couldn't be easier. I have a Steering wheel and Airbag unit you could buy with the un-torn horn buttons!
I'd look out for a recently changed cam belt on the car!
Good luck mate, let us know how you get on!!
