When you put the above on a 1.4 16v sport, do you have to get the engine chipped and remapped or can you just remap the existing ECU, if so how much does this generally cost ?
I read on here years ago that you can reset the ECU by simple diconnecting the battery for a bit and then the ECU will rest it self would this not work ?

u can put it straight on and do nothing but you will gain more bhp if you hav it remaped

Cheers mate, just wasn't sure if it would run like a bag of sh1t or not.
Remapping is on the way, in the mean time i'll go ahead with put it on.
