is it OK to use this in combination with a cork gasket on my rocker cover? Bastard thing keeps leaking oil, so I picked up a new rocker cover today at the salvage yard, and already have a new gasket and bolts.

should be ok...
are you greasing the gasket before u fit it?..
before using instant gasket, id use silicone tho.

Greasing it? Never heard of this before, Last time I just fired on the gasket, but its started to leak, so im thinking instant gasket will help?

you need to grease cork gaskets before fitting them...
just some LM bearing grease is fine..
you'll find this is why it keeps leaking lol

Normally I give gaskets a smear of copper grease along the surface, usually helps.

Ive got that, Ill give that a shot.
Combine it with instant gasket too?
