Well I had a K+N which didnt give off too much noise. When it hit bout 4k revs it started to sound well, but still quite quiet. I liked it though as i doesnt sound OTT, just sounds nice.

Ive had a k&n cone filter on mine, i wouldn't bother tbh, made no difference at all and didn't have any sort of noise.

Since then ive fitted the standard one back on and prefer it with tbh.

open your air box, and replace the piperX foam filter for the standard paper filter.

induction kits are shit, i've had an open cone, enclosed v-sport filter and standard airbox and filter.......the standard one is the best. i just keep the v-sport one on there for the sake of it, because i have it in my head it actually does something.
