On a 2000 sxi is the ecu down at the pedals or is that just something to do with the electric power steering?

what engine? if its the 1.0 12v or 1.2 16v then the ecu is in the engine bay and its the epas control unit down by the pedals.
if its a 1.4 or 1.6 16v then its the ecu

no i think on the 12v n 1.2 16v the ecu is down in your footwell
