ive got a spot weld drill, done one and its done exactly the same thing as a normal drill would do.... go straight through. luckily is down low so i will weld it up as neat as i can and paint it with the rest of the floor. this is a right mare, whats the trick to doing it?

use the spot weld drill, when it's centred, rotate the drill around the centre point, if that makes sense? In a sort of cone shape

Then use a small pry bar or strong screwdriver and lever it off.

As long as you've nearly gone through at the edges of the weld, it'll ping off.
