Mate has a 1.8 8v (carb) mk1 golf, and its cutting out in 4th and 5th normally around 4/5k but sometimes lower.
If you let off to around 2/3k its fine

Cant really tell wether its spark or fuel.

Any ideas??

Changed dizzy cap and cleaned carb out.
