hey,
recently had some problems with the electrics in the car, got a mechanic to look at it and since i got the car back my wipers dont work problem...settings 2 and 3 work on the stalk control but not setting 1  the wipers are also stopping immediately after i turn the wipers off rather than returning to their normal position...help me?

Sounds like there is just a problem with the stalk i.e. connection for intermittent (sp?) (position 1)!
As for stopping and not going to the rest position, all Corsa's do that. Well mine has since I got it anyway.

As said, could be the stalk...I'd replace that first as they are cheap (£5 from scrapper) and easy to change

Mine has only recently stopped going to the rest position and it's starting to give me the shits 
Don't know if it's yet another motor or the stalk.
Let me know if anyone has a cure. Ta

cool, also i have noticed that if i scoosh the windows the wipers do nothing, it just simply soaks the window nw...the problem is not intermittent tho, it just doesnt work now
its defo either gona b the stalk or the motor eh? is there anythin else it could be?

i have just been out there n swapped the stalk over for one i got out the scappies and its doin the exact same thing, is there anythin else it could be other than the motor now?

for anyone who is interested...this problem was caused due to faulty wiper relay, replaced it and it works perfect again
