Only just starting out & Im confused as fuck already 
Picking a charachter is a right ball ache, then you have to pick all their traites & how you want them to be. I asked the guy in the shop why it came with a map & he saod there's about 100sq miles of terrain. Im confused in the first building
Should've bought summat else

i borrowed it, played it for half hour (15 minutes of making my character look like a rapist) then turnt it off that castle is baffeling

oblivion is very dumbed down to begin with to appeal to the console market, if you think this is difficult, you would strugle with a proper rpg.

Rented this from Lovefilm and turned it off after half hour. Think I'll stick to RPGs on the PC...
Renting from Lovefilm is good actually -- play for a couple days and if it's good just send it back and buy it

Yeah Ninja Gaiden Sigma -- rented that too. Didn't like it  Pretty nice gfx but wasn't my kinda game.
Demo's on PS3 Store for that too if you wanna play it.

Def Jam fighting thingy looks very flashy but is full of hip hop wankers
Virtua fighter looks OK but I have no desire to own it. Not played it though
Ridge Racer is another option
Or motorstorm

Also like F.E.A.R. but it's just another port that you might as well buy for the PC for less...

One of the highest rated games EVER accross the board on all 3 formats, countless awards.
Have played it for about 80 hours now and it is an awesome experience.
For the first 30 mins i really was not keen on it, after a couple of hours i started to enjoy it. A few hours later once id levelled up a couple of times and fully grasped the controls, rules etc i was hooked.
I would say to anyone (including you tim) give it a weekend and see how you feel, im betting 9/10 of you would stick with it.
For the first few hours you get constant tutorial prompts as well, dont knock it, easily one of the best gaming experiences I have had.

great game but hard. Like fable but much biger and harder.
I loved it, the mugging and robbery to get cool weapons and stuff.
Just really hard and would imagin loads bigger than the Final fantasy games and the last one of them i played i ahd over 200 Hours think the game only counts up to 99 hours too haha.

how is the darkness, all the vids looked good, but im yet to download the demo as its 1.3gig and the net here isnt exactly fast at the best of times

i may have another shot at oblivion. I'm not into all that axe's and bows stuff. its too world of warcraft for my liking. but its getting to phrase. The darkness (only played the ps3 demo) and it was a very average game. its ok but not worth £40. shit frame rate on the ps3 too.

i prefer exploring and stealing stuff etc rather then fighting anyways

My guy on it was archer based, he kicks ass.
Agree with the exploring/stealing thing though steve, its easy to do all that later in the game, you get all the good gear to use
