What is the best way to smooth a boot, which is not massivly expensive (corsa b)

fibreglass? or welded? or just find an already done one somewhere???

Welded is the only way to do it. Then you need somone who knows what they are doing to di it otherwise it will end up a warped mess like these examples:

Short run Fibreglass is cheaper.
Long run welding cheaper.

Fibreglass eventually cracks especially if you have a sub in boot. Therefor you would need to have it redone every so often unless you like that chavy look.
