have tried another MDF display and still doesn't work, got to check for a live feed

is this a common problem? any suguestions?

fines fucked too, always resets to midnight in 1992

I think i just need a new unit as its the connection on the back

when mine resets it goes to 92, the car didnt even get made until 2000

I resoldered my connector. Was OK after that.

mine only works when i bang the passenger crash bar

or randomly turns on.

Mine turns off when you turn the lights on insted of dimming used to work with a whack but not anymore

As NotMyCorsa said, re-solder the connector, there are about 20 pins but they are quite big so it is a fairly easy job. The connection on the MFD's aren't strong, mine came loose after only disconnecting it twice.
