Sorry to sound rather dumb but what do these exactly do?

How hard are they to fit?

Is there much power gains from them?

find a cam and exahust system (4 branch manifold, and system) on ebay, best bet for a bit more responsiveness. cant see you gaining much bhp but should feel a bit more pokey

Go for second hand for the 8v's alot cheaper than that of 16's with less BHP gains. However you should gain some torque and pull quicker in lower gears than that of higher.

Cam, 4-2-1, nice exhaust system, 2nd hand thottle bodies, vernier and away you go won't gain alot of bhp but you will be quick in lower gears.

It's either that or save for a 1.6 or above.

very nice exhaust i have to say! lol (iv got that one).
If ure going to have an exhaust manifold i would suggest getting an inlet manifold also; no point letting gas out quicker if it cant get in quicker! not sure what gains u get on an 8v though, heard they are a little more torquey!
