ive got a full decat system ready to go on but what difference does it actually make? ive seen posts that it wont make any performance difference. if it wont make a change to anythin, why do people still do it? is there any point? help please. cheers

first thing is, id make sure you keep your old cat as it will more than likely fail its mot without it (cars made after 1993 have to have a CAT.
it will definately make a difference to the sound, but not sure on any performance gains. what spec corsa you got?

if its a full exhaust system... I.E manifold to back box with 2" or 2 1/4" piping it would give you 2-3hp increase but the biggest improvement is within the rev range car should rev easier and more freely. should be coupled with other basic breathing mods like IK or panel filter and cold air feeds.
