will my corsa fail the MoT with a de-cat pipe on it or should i risk it?

brought the car with a de-cat pipe on and haven't got given the cat, what do i do?

how much would a cat cost? would i get away with buying one, then taking it back? would it be worth borrowing one off someone?

mart.

technically the car doesn't need a cat to pass if the emissions are low enough, but few cars can manage it without the cat so you are probably stuffed. Also most testers will fail the car as soon as the see it hasn't got a cat and it should have.
