im having a few minor problems with my car. when i try and pull away at low revs it judders quite a bit and when i put my foot down it feels like it misfires then pulls away ok. it used to be fine, then only do it in 1st and second now it does it if i pull away in any gear at less than 2000 rpm.
anyone know what this might be?
its a 1.4 8v sri by the way.

Had the exact same problem mate, in my case it was the coil pack.

It might not be the coil pack, could be the plugs/leads etc. Coil pack cost me £15 from scrappy and took me about 5 minutes to replace.

it says in my first post, 1.4 sri 8v

I reckon it will be a sensor of some sort.
My mate's car did it and it was the MAP sensor, which is a green plug that plugs in about an inch from the header tank.

Air Flow Meter Sensor.
exact same symptons as mine had when my AFM had gone.
although could be other things so needs to be tested.
