I've been told that if I was to fit 60mm springs I would firstly have to buy shortened shocks. Is this true?? If I fit 60mm springs onto the standard shocks am I going to cause loads of problems??

no but the shocks would wear out and leak faster than normal springs on normal shocks.

its recommended ou buy shortened shorts but isn't a necessity (sp)

standard shocks will last no time at all and the ride will be shit.
