Ok I have just had my ignition module replaced on my corsa. Just wondered really if anyone knew why it needed replacing- is it a specific cause or just general wear and tear kind of thing?

They can start to overheat, and stop triggering the coil to "fire" a spark.
Giving intermittent misfires.
