if the centre silencer is removed...it stil legal??also is this hard to do???

weld a length of steel pipe inside the backbox, to remove all silencing qualities.
did this to my mates pulsar, sounded absolutely awessome, rasped like a rally car

 nice 1!!!I just want it louder to beef up the sound realy....wen i rang them he sed the only way 2 do this wud be to put a new middle section in

Tis illegal but what reason does the fuzz have to pull you over? They don't know you've decatted it. Unless you put stickers all over you car saying you have. Or if you're selected for a random on the spot emissions check, which is rather rare i think..
