I really like the look of the irmsher twin exit backbox for my car but i aint paying £280 for a backbox. Does this backbox make it sound nicer aswell?

Any recomendations on any other backboxes for a corsa c sxi. I dont want an exhaust that sounds loud and shite, just want good looks and a nice sound to it cause i cant stand the look of my standard backbox.
Thanks
Dean

Buy the back box, take it to PowerFlow and get them to make you louder centre section from the CAT back.

So £280 for the back box and £100 for the centre section.

£150 for an exhaust, well you might as well forget about having something decent.

Might as well go down the local builders merchants and buy some scaffolding.

pop down to your local powerflow and get a custom box sorted. powerflow.uk.com has the range of pipes you can use, find your local dealer, ring for a quote simple.

i'm still not sure about replacing my backbox cause of my warranty, might have to ring up my dealer and see if they will void the engine warranty if i get it replaced :S

I didn't really choose it for my corsa, my Dad just thought it looked good and put it on as an option and he's paid for it, so cant argue! I really want a centre exit exhaust really!!

Question - Powerflow say they've got like 100 different silencers, to suit everyone's needs ..

But HOW on earth will you know what they sound like, they can hardly describe the sound ?

And if you say you want it not too loud, but still noticeable, to them they might think you mean still quite loud ?

Can they change and swap around silencers when your'e there , until you find the right one ?

me got a custom Twin slash cut 4" back box on my corsa C which cost me £160. I got mine made by Free-Flow << basically a better place than POwerflow!

i get a nice deep sound off mine, louder than irmscher ones etc and not too loud.

Longlife is owned by one half of the old Powerflow who split and made better exhausts...

Basically they are like powerflow but higher quality steel i think...

Dont rate powerflow personally. They made my center section from the cat back... I look at it now and it looks in awful condition. Sebring do a nice subtle twin exit box... red_sxi has one, looks decent.

I made my exhaust myself out of plastic bags and bent paper clips.
