what differance do injectors make for example if i put vxr injectors on a 1.4 sport would this work or infact make any differance

You need to think about this, the VXR injectors are designed to work with +240bhp. They flow much more fuel than you will ever need with a 1.4sport. If you fit them to your car, it will over fuel - A LOT.
Not a good idea. There a good upgrade for people running slightly tunned C20LET engines!

You have to remember that fuel needs the correct ratio of air to burn correctly.
You will be adding about twice the normal fuel, but adding NO additional air.
The key to more power is increase air input, if you can get more air into the cylinders, you can add more fuel=more power.
They would probably kill your engine,(excess fuel washing oil off the bores=worn piston rings/bores)
