right made the decision to just take my time and do it myself...anyone got a good write up on putting a 2.0l 16v engine from a calibra into my corsa c...and also what other parts i am going to need and where i can get them like engine mounts etc...

No one will be able to help you mate, reason is noone has really done the conversion.
No one makes a off the shelf fitting kit, everything has to be made and all is trial and error.

The only people who can help you are not going to give you all the research and infomation without a cost.
Before you jump into this conversion do research mate, more so read up on the wiring side

well i have to spoken to a company who do a conversion kit and have advised that their kit consisting of engien + gearbox moutns and various other things can be used to put the x20xe lump into a corsa c...

Post up the Company name mate, be useful for people in the future.
I know of 1 company who make engine mounts off the sheft BUT they are silly exspensive.

well they were in total vauxhall with just a little add...rang them yesterday and well the guy dint sound too convincing...

so rang lmf who also advertise in total vauxhall...and they advised a kit is not yet available off the shelf but m-tec are in process of testing one and it should be available in the near future, but could not confirm a date as yet...

The M-Tech has been coming out for 2 years now so i wouldent hold my breath there mate.
Who is the other company? JNC?

I have only found 1 company who want like £300 per mount

nah its not JNC, but might give them a ring and see what they advise...the company in total vauhxall suprisingly havent advertised with their name...just a telephone number...

ok there might be a change in direction...
i see there are a number of people who put a c20let into a corsa c, would this mean parts for the conversion would be easier to source...

well im new to the scene so dont know much about vauxhall cars...know shed loads about dubs...lol but all this is new so advise is much appreciated...
