what wire would i use to extend the wire for the original horn to an air horn? would house wire be ok eg. for sockets and lights? or would i need automotive wire?

Bell wire.. or go to a scrappy and rip the horn wire off a scrappy

bell wire go to a car spares place (not halfords !!!) and buy some proper wire around 50p a meter 6-8 amp stuff will be fine or you may get a 6-10m roll for 4-5 quid

equipment wire is rated differently to automotive stuff

its ott but it will do the job idealy you want some 14//0.2 or 14/0.3 whats 8-9 amp your local car shop should have some what will work out cheap for you

the instructions claim you need 1mm sq (8A) and 2.5mm sq (21A). but maybe thats only if you use the relay im hoping to get away without it
